Somewhere near Arches National park we found this
Critical Mass Tree: There aren't too many of them left in the wild
so it was a rare pleasure to get to see. During the late 1990's
the invasive Utility Vehicle Creeper vines choked out most of the
natural habitat of this delicate specie. |

Mr. Lumpy took some time out this past
summer to relax after the publication of his first book. One trip
took the Lump to Rothbury Michigan for several days and nights of music.
He met many new people and got to hear lots of good music. Keep an
eye out for him at next year's event. If all else fails you can
usually catch him at "the domes" late night. |

Stained glass experiment the winter of 2005: The
four central fields of glass constitute the additive primaries of color.
When light passes though and casts the filtered color on an adjacent
surface, the full rainbow of colors are displayed. It works quite
nicely and makes for a good explanation of how the primaries of light
come together to form all the colors in-between. |

Stained glass window made as a shade. This uses an old double-hung
window frame. These give the room a really nice accent instead of
using blinds or other commercial shade. |

Spider hub finally gets a home: After traveling
from show-to-show guarding artwork, spider-hub's home is finally
complete. It took two years to complete the bent-wire web but I am
pretty happy with it. Made from welding wire and bicycle parts
that had to be retired after various crashes. Now I need a new
creature to look over the art... |
